Cabbagetown Arts & Crafts and Riverdale Farm Festival

Wow, talking about packing in 180 artists into a park. It was amazing to see. I must admit Binder Twine Festival was roomier but both festivals are great because they both brought in such talented artists.

Wallace, Aidan and I ventured to the festival. It was funny we parked the CRV but realized that we didn't have the stroller. Who the heck forgets the stroller? APPARENTLY US! We trekked back home to get the stroller and made our way to the Cabbagetown Arts & Crafts and Riverdale Festival. We wanted to start with the farm because it closes at 3:30pm but unfortunately the farm was close due to sewage problems. They were cleaning it up. What luck! It would have been nice to see the farm animals with Aidan. He seems to recognize the pigs, cows, goats, horses...etc. We'll just have to make another trip to the farm.

We waded through the crowd....saw Austin Delaney from CTV News at the festival and again... Wallace saw him sneak into his house on Carlton St. There were lots of garage sales along the way, which is amazing to see. Of course an outing is not complete unless you stop for a Timmy - Large double, double please!
